Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Provides deck supervisory of Crane operations, rigging and scaffolding, Helicopter Operations & marine support activities to achieve and maintain the technical and performance integrity of the FPSO Facility.
•   Ensure activities are progressed in accordance with MODEC and industry standard engineering procedures and specifications.
•   Familiarization with the requirements of the Facilities Safety Cases and Facilities Management Systems.
•   Develops and  reviews Operational work instructions and standard operational procedures as required.
•   Ensures the required inspection and quality assurance documentation for all maintenance,  production, and operations materials and services, to be procured, is identified   and   specified   in   accordance   with   the approved MODEC Ghana HSEQ standards.
•   Provide assistance to the Emergency Response Group, particularly      regarding      equipment      and      system information as required.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Recognized technical or academic qualification (N)
•   Offshore Crane Operator level III (E)
•   International rigging and / or Scaffold certification (E)
•   Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme (E)

Experience:

•   Minimum 8 years offshore experience as a senior offshore crane operator (E)
•   Must have 8 years supervisory experience for deck rigging and scaffolding. helicopter operations & marine support activities in an offshore environment. (E)
•   Previous experience with responsibility for maintenance of marine mechanical plant/system and equipment (E)
•   Indepth knowledge and input of CMMS systems & maintenance of marine mechanical plant/systems and equipments (E)

Team Working:

•   Adopt flexible working attitude to provide support across departments to ensure team success.
•   Conduct work group / toolbox briefings.
•   Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify & minimize interpersonal conflict.
•   Maintain effective communication with Supervisors and other work groups.

Communications/Reporting:

•   To report any defect or inspection report to relevant Production Supervisor in a clear and concise manner and record all relevant information in logs as required.
•   Ensure a safe and comprehensive handover is given at shift or crew change with all pertinent operational and maintenance information to relevant personnel.
•   Provide required input to vessel meetings, planning, initiatives etc.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

•   Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the Safety Management System, including vessel safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements
•   Proactively contribute to delivery against HSE plans and improvement objectives.
•   Be aware of physical condition of plant & equipment to ensure technical integrity is maintained; raise issues and concerns identified.
