A Leading Research Organization in Ghana is seeking experienced Economists to undertake research and advocacy on pertinent economic policy issues in Ghana. The candidate will carry out economic analyses across a wide range of country issues and will design policy and institutional reforms in support of Ghana’s efforts to eradicate poverty and promote economic growth.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Ph.D in Economics as well as a strong research and publication record.
•   At least 7 years relevant experience in policy issues in developing countries.
•   Sound knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques and experience in their applications,
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to raise the profile of the organization and build networks.
•   Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of team work.
•   Strong client orientation, willingness to work with wide range of government, civil society actors, and donor counterparts.
•   Provide intellectual leadership, direct quality and lead research.
•   Coach, mentor and advise staff.
