Responsibilities

•   Shall ensure compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental policies of the company by team members
•   Plan and execute all planned electrical jobs in a cost effective manner
•   Attend to breakdowns
•   Give direction/assistance to Electrical Technicians on shift when required
•   Follow up on all jobs submitted by Monitoring team and update the CMMS
•   Ensure that all electrical drawings are up-to-date and available
•   Provide recommendations for improving equipment efficiency

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum qualification of B.Sc. Electrical & Electronics Engineering or HND Electrical Engineering/Part ill or equivalent
•   Minimum (5) five years experience for BSc. qualification and (8) eight years for HND qualification, in a 24 hour continuous manufacturing industry
•   Ability to handle both Power and Instrumentation issues in a Plant
•   Good appreciation for SHE procedures
•   Very Good knowledge of PLC's and HMI's
•   Good ability in use of MS Office products
•   Strong in the reading of Electrical drawings and troubleshooting
•   Ability to work for extended and odd hours
•   Ability to manage a group of Technicians
•   Be familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
•   Familiarity with Weighing systems will be an advantage
