Yinson Production is a multinational Company in the business of building, operating and managing Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels, and Mobile Offshore Production Units (MOPU) for the Oil and Gas Industry. Job Description

YPWAL will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Offshore Cape Three Points FPSO for enighana. YPWAL will be hiring for various positions for the unit, which will commence operations offshore Ghana in 2017.

Mission:

•   Maintain, repair and ensure uninterrupted operation of the unit’s electronic and electrical equipment.

Scope:

•   Area of responsibility covers electrical and instrumentation equipment on whole unit. Monitoring and troubleshooting of Emergency Shutdown, Fire and Gas Detection systems and ICSS.
•   Supervise Electrician, Instrument Technician and DCS Technician
•   The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description

Duties:

•   The maintenance and repair of all electronic and electrical equipment including (not limited to):

o  High and low voltage systems
o  Automation and control systems
o  Internal communications equipment
o  Deck and cargo monitoring equipment
o  Engine room equipment
o  Generators and motors
o  Computer network

•   Follow  PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities
•   To report any hazardous situation or equipment failure to MSUP as appropriate
•   Monitor spare parts inventory related to the area of responsibility
•   Familiar with  Computerized Maintenance system
•   Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
•   Ensure personnel qualifications are established and that each individual is given the opportunity of improvement through selective on the job training
•   Member of Emergency Response Team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Essential Criteria – to meet the standard of competence of electro-technical officer (ETO) STCW code A-III/6.
•   Permitted to carry out maintenance on HV systems
•   8 years offshore experience or on seagoing tankers
•   Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix
•   Very good written and spoken English.
