A reputable international organisation is seeking to fill the following position for an intended project: Senior Gender Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

•   Ensure the integration of gender across all program activities, with the objective of increasing gender equity in northern Ghana
•   Lead the Gender Strategy development and implementation incorporating specific and practical activities to integrate gender and enhance women and girls empowerment throughout the program implementation
•   Design and conduct gender awareness trainings for staff and partners and collaborate with local women's groups, gender-focused organisations that are implementing similar gender activities to facilitate joint learning.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   MSc. Degree in gender or related field
•   Minimum of ten years experience in gender development programs
•   Demonstrated experience in conducting gender analysis and integrated programming
•   Strong interpersonal and communication skills
