Our client is an Exploration and Production (E&P) company, with its headquaters in Ghana. Our client is currently carrying out an evaluation og existing discoveries and exploration operations offshore Ghana. The company is seeking to fill the following position with competent professionals: Senior Geologist

Role and Responsibilities

•   Evaluate, interpret and analyse geological data, create maps, maintain prospect and lead inventory, integrate with all available geo scientific data
•   Define technical specifications/preparations on various service requirement, evaluate tenders technically in order to ensure timely availability of appropriate geological services.
•   Appraise discovery and estimate hydrocarbon volumes, reservoir modelling, conceptual field well planning in order to ensure identification of high grade drilling olocation, estimation of discovered hydrocarbons and preparation of appraisal programmes
•   Analyse geological data, provide geological inputs for safe and cost-effective well design, implement data acquisition programme, ensure quality of data, monitor and interpret well data and make recommendation on testing/presence of hydrocarbons, compare prognosis to actuals
•   Evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of the areas for new application or for farm in opportunities
•   Maintenance of prospect inventory description
•   Provision of Geoscience data for corporate & JV operations
•   Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activities

Qualification Required & Experience

•   MSc Geology from a recognised university
•   7+ years experience in the industry with a strong background in operations/wellsite geology
•   Excellent technical computer skills are required
•   Fluent written and spoken English is required
