Primary Responsibilities

• A Shutter hand/Carpenter must have knowledge and experience in concrete, shuttering, scaffolding, formwork, concrete placing and concrete curing
• Read and interpret working plans and drawings for the job and set out the work from these instructions
• Erect and dismantle formwork as per the specifications for all types of structures
• Position the formwork ready for concrete pours
• Ensure that all tasks are performed as per the industry standards and in accordance with regulations laid down by the law project head and construction site leaders

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as shutter hand/carpenter in the construction industry
• Physically fit and able to work at heights
• Excellent understanding of various techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
