Vacancy exists for the post of Headmaster for the above school with the following departments: Creche, Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary, JHS

Selection would be based on 3 main criteria namely: 1) Qualification 2) Experience 3) Competencies

Qualification Required & Experience

• B.Ed in Basic Education
• Diploma in Basic Education

Experience

• B.Ed. Basic Education (Age: 40 years)
• Must have 7 years working experience 3 of which must be in a managerial position

Or

• Diploma in Basic Education (Age 45 years)
• Must have 10 years working experience 3 of which must be in a managerial position

Competencies

• Applicants must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft word and Excel application progs.
• Applicants must understand students cultural backgrounds, interests, skills and abilities as they apply across a range of learning domains and/or subject areas.
• Applicant should be able to motivate students to learn while monitoring their progress toward instructional goals
• Recording and reporting assessment results for school-level analysis, evaluation and decision-making must be a core competency as well
• Applicants are expected to have good rapport with parents and guardians including staff and form constructive relationship with them
• Establish goals for professional development
