Job Vacancy For Training Officer (Sales Support) At Provident Life



This role is responsible for performing all aspects of the learning cycle for the sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Presents formal, informal, standardized and customized learning interventions.
•   Conducts knowledge/skills assessment for each learning intervention.
•   Designs and develops sales training programmes.
•   Monitors and reviews progress of new sales advisor recruits.
•   Produces monthly training reports and keeps up to date training records.
•   Facilitates transfer of learning through providing assistance and/or support to ensure that workplace assessment is conducted.
•   Analyses trends related to the effectiveness and quality of the learning intervention.
•   Maximises the sales department's effectiveness by determining, studying sale trends and solving sales staff training needs.
•   Reports on the strengths and shortcomings of the learning events.
•   Performs all aspects of the learning cycle (analysis, research, design, development, implement and evaluate).

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A degree/diploma in teaching or learning and development.
•   At least 3 years of training and development experience in a commercial environment.
•   Experience in the Insurance Industry is a must.
•   Have excellent presentation skills
•   Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
•   Have excellent communication skills.
