An opportunity has arisen for you to join an ethusiastic and professional team for any of the following position: Treasurer

Main Duties & Responsibilities

•   Effectively identify, manage and control treasury risk
•   Safeguard the company's cash balances and other investments through effective management and control of funds
•   Maximum returns from the investment of the company's funds within the constraints and risk tolerances established by the company's treasury management policy and investment and asset liability management (ALM) Plicy
•   Implement the provisions of the company's investment and asset liability management (ALM) policy, ensuring that the objectives and targets spelt therein are achieved
•   Assist the Head of Finance in the management of the company's capital, including dividends, debt capacity, debt and equity structure, resource allocation and currency strategy
•   Liaise with Banks, non-bank financial institutions and stockbrokers to ensure the deepening of relationships to the company's benefit
•   Exercise oversight responsibility over cheque/cash payment system
•   Report into the company's investment committee on investment performance

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University Degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
•   Membership of an accounting/finance related professional body is desirable
•   At least 5 years post qualification experience in Treasury/Investment management
•   Sound knowledge in Portfolio Management
•   Familiar with money and capital markets activities
•   Highly proficient in report writing and oral communication
•   Should be result-oriented, very meticulous and possess strong negotiation skills
