We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual who will be responsible for media sales, newspaper circulation and oversee the co-ordination of activities, including administrative issues pertaining to Editorial in the Nothern Zone (Tamale, Bolgatanga, Wa)  under the Marketing Department of GCGL.

Key Accountabilities

•   Responsible for implementing strategies to grow and manage adverts and newspaper sales in the zone
•   Identify new areas to grow newspapers sales and vendorship expansion
•   Ensure harmonious, profitable business relationship with clients and newspapers vendors agents
•   Work with vendors, agents and corporate clients to ensure timely collection of all debts due the company
•   Ensure timely submission of sales reports to the Head Office and represent the company in all administrative matters in the zone
•   Organise promotional activities within the zone to drive sales

Experience / Skills / Competencies required

•   Performance driven with a keen desire to achieve results
•   Strong business awareness
•   Must possess good communication, excellent presentation, negotiation, team building skills and interpersonal skills
•   Ability to work to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision
•   Proven ability to manage people and resources
•   Ability to drive
•   Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Social Science from a reputable tertiary institution
•   4 years post qualification relevant experience gained from working in a dynamic business environment
•   Working knowledge of the print media industry would be a distinct advantage
