A major player in the Oil and Gas Industry in Ghana invites applications from dynamic, result oriented and well qualified individuals to occupy the following position in the Organization

 Manager-Compliance

The successful candidate will have line responsibility for all compliance issues and shall:

1. Ensure that operators and licenses adhere to industry best practices and regulations
2. Ensure standards as defined by regulations, guidelines and international best practice are followed by operators, contractors and parties with contractual obligations in the industry
3. Establish time frames for implementing recommendations, directives and orders as determined in accordance with regulations and or prevalent
4. Ensure that operators follow conditions in permits issued by regulatory authority
5. Ensure that operators and licenses are compliant with all safety, health and environmental regulations
6. Recommend improvements in compliance procedures, practices and management of compliance

Qualifications

1. Compliance Officer: A Masters level qualification in Petroleum Engieering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Law or a similar qualification is required
2. A minimum of ten(10) years relevant working experience, five of which should have been in a managerial position
3. Certification by an appropriate professional body is required in addition to a minimum of three years relevant work experience.
