Job Summary

•   Assist Senior Technical Advisor to effectively deploy training strategies to further DKT’s goals of improving access to long acting contraceptive use
•   Support the Senior Technical Advisor to manage relationships with trainees and other partners in SRH
•   Support all Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) educational programmes, especially family planning.
•   Assist with implementation of community outreach elements to increase DKT brands of contraceptives, especially long acting (IUD and Implant use) methods

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

•   Support the Senior Technical Advisor (STA) in the planning and implementation of clinical and non-clinical training programmes
•   Work with (STA) to develop training aids and content of training materials
•   Support with facilitation of training session, writing training reports and updating of training database
•   Support STA to effectively monitor and evaluate training activities and make recommendations for improvement
•   Assist with logistics for training activities including procurement of training items
•   Manage communication related to training programmes with prospective trainees
•   Conduct supervisory visits to assess post training performance
•   Provide supportive supervision for Trainees
•   Create, nurture and maintain strong linkages between DKT and private healthcare providers
•   Maintain partnership with health care providers to increase uptake and sales of long acting contraceptive methods
•   Support with community outreach educational programmes to promote DKT’s products
•   Support STA to keep all DKT employees up-to-date on FP and SRH issues and innovations

Other Duties

•   Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Technical Advisor.
